The patch included allow up to 4 people to play T-Edition, effectively one person controls 1 character, turning the game into a pseudo-mmo of sorts and co-op greatly enhanced.

https://snes.party/ - Use this to play or Parsec via the info below.

To enable this feature, please patch the file then in SNES9x (or a similar emulator) go to Input->Use Super Multitap (5 Players), then Input->Input Configuration and set up each Joypad #1-4. You will need to use a screen sharing program if doing this online with friends, Parsec is a great thing for this for example. Have the host click the Joypad then the player with their controller inputs their keys and has the host enable it once done. When finished, load the game up and go to the menu, down to Config and a new option at the bottom will be displayed called "Players". Select the number you wish to have and you're set!

To figure who controls who, Player 1 is the top party member slot, 2 is 2, etc. Clearing battle messages may depend on who got the final blow or whose turn just came up, so if someone presses buttons to get the text to continue and nothing happens, simply have everyone try. Menuing will work for everyone at the same time, so try and call out when you wish to equip, browse items, etc so it doesn't get chaotic.

Overall, enjoy, and have fun with 4-Player Final Fantasy VI T-Edition!

**Note: I assume this will work on console by just having the 4 controllers plugged in and selecting 4 Players in the Config menu if you're
doing this in person.
